The Four Pillars of Our Programme

  • Skill Development: From basic movement patterns to sport-specific techniques. Children progress at their own pace, building competence and confidence.
  • Health and Fitness: Developmentally appropriate activities that build cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, and a love of movement.
  • Social and Emotional Growth: PE teaches teamwork, resilience, fair play, respect, and how to handle winning and losing with grace.

How We Teach

  • Inclusive and Differentiated: Every child moves at their own level. No one sits out; we modify activities so everyone participates successfully.

  • Variety: Throughout the year, students experience dance, gymnastics, ball sports, swimming, athletics, and outdoor activities.

Health-Focused Physical Education

  • Movement for Wellbeing: We teach breathing techniques, stretching, and relaxation as tools for managing stress and staying calm.

  • Nutrition and Lifestyle: Integrated conversations about healthy choices, hydration, sleep, and overall wellness.

Extended Sport

Whole-School Trips (Monthly)

Beyond regular PE lessons, we organise monthly outings where the whole school moves together. Whether it's hiking, visiting a sports facility, swimming at a local pool, or exploring a new natural environment, these trips build community and give children real-world experiences with movement and nature.
