Dear parents, we are pleased to invite you to register your child for grade 1 at elementary school Flow for the school year 2027/2028.

Calm classrooms, meaningful projects, teaching naturally connected with English, purposeful digital skills and daily wellness — all built on a strong foundation of reading and mathematical literacy.

Step 1:

Step 2:

School readiness assessment is a key part of the admissions process. It helps us understand a child's preparedness to begin school attendance and ensures that family expectations and values align with Flow's philosophy.

School Readiness Assessment

This assessment focuses on several areas of development for future first-graders, primarily in the area of fine motor skills, spatial imagination, visual and auditory perception, communication, mathematical literacy, and general knowledge.

It is also an opportunity to meet with school management to discuss together priorities and expectations in the area of your child's education.

After the meeting you will receive detailed feedback on the assessment and overall readiness of your child for enrollment to first grade.

Step 3:

The final step is the formal school enrollment — Registration Day. Please contact us for the most current information about dates and required documents.

On this day, at least one legal guardian must come to the school in person to complete formal registration. Parents will receive detailed instructions via email, including a list of documents to bring.

This step fulfills the legal requirements for official enrollment in school according to Czech educational law.

Admission Criteria

The admissions process at Flow is guided by several key principles that ensure a good fit between the child, family, and our educational philosophy. Each application is carefully evaluated on the following criteria.

Mandatory criteria:

School readiness of the child

We assess the level of school readiness through a short diagnostic in the form of play, led by a team of experienced educators (you can complete it on the day of enrollment or schedule it in advance if you want to receive feedback sooner). This process helps us ensure that the environment and teaching method match the individual needs and developmental stage of your child.

Alignment of family values with Flow's educational philosophy

We are looking for families who share and support the core values of the Flow approach — such as respect, curiosity, independent learning, and collaboration — to create a harmonious and consistent environment for the child both at school and at home.

Preferential criteria

Siblings of current Flow students

Priority may be given to applicants who already have siblings enrolled at Flow, to support family continuity and strengthen our school community.

Trial day

The child has already spent a morning programme with our first-graders.
