How a transfer works
Five steps, no stress.
From first contact to starting school is typically 2–4 weeks. We handle the admin for you.

A short form at the bottom of the page or an email to info@skolaflow.cz. Within 1 business day we get back to you — either by phone or to arrange a meeting straight away.

Meeting with leadership
Parents meet with school leadership — we talk about expectations, the child's situation, the reasons for transferring. No commitment. We show you the school and answer questions.

3 experience days
If we both feel this makes sense, we set a date. Your child spends 3 full days in a regular class in their grade. Free, no commitment.

A joint decision
After the experience days we sit down again — you with your child, we as the school. We share how it went. If both sides say "yes", we move on. If not, we part ways amicably.

Contract and admin
Signing the contract, deregistering from the previous school (we handle this with you), the start date. For a mid-year transfer you pay a prorated share of tuition for the remaining months — no extra joining fees.
Transfer FAQ
Parents' most common concerns.
Can we transfer in the middle of the school year?
Yes, any time. Mid-year transfers are routine for us — we have experience with them and handle the admin quickly. There's no need to wait for the semester or year end.
What if my child falls behind on the previous school's curriculum?
Our teaching doesn't run "in parallel" with the state curriculum on the same timing — project-based learning works differently. In a small class the teacher has time to catch up where needed without burdening the child where they're already strong. Most transferring children "catch up" with themselves in the first few weeks.
The concrete plan for the first few weeks is set individually with the child's teacher — never one-size-fits-all.
What happens with the report card from the previous school?
The report card from the previous school remains valid. For a mid-year transfer, the child finishes the semester with us and the report card comes from FLOW. We handle the admin together (application, deregistration, curriculum alignment) — you don't have to deal with anything alone.
How much does a mid-year transfer cost?
Only a prorated share of tuition for the remaining months (tuition is CZK 180,000 / 10 months = CZK 18,000 per month). No joining fees, no enrolment fees, no "transfer fees". Tuition and additional payment details are on the Fees and tuition page.
What if my child doesn't fit in with classmates?
That's exactly why we start with three full experience days. The teacher and the children give feedback, and you'll see for yourself how your child feels. If you have any doubts after the experience days — nobody pushes anyone into anything. The contract is signed only after mutual agreement.
What documents will you need?
For the transfer itself: the child's latest report card from the previous school, a copy of the birth certificate, parents' IDs. For us it's essentially a formality — we go through everything in detail at the meeting. You don't need to "prepare" anything in advance.
